In June of 2010, Curtis Blackwell was honored by the International Bluegrass Museum in
Owensboro, Kentucky as a participant in the Legends of Bluegrass Concert and was recognized as a Pioneer of Bluegrass as a former member of Legendary Bill
Monroe's Bluegrass Boys.
