Find Your Free Doughnut Day Spot in Cumming on Friday
Annual "holiday" celebrating the breakfast treat means special deals at a few hot locations.

There’s no such thing as free lunch.
But on Friday, June 5 there will be such thing as a free donut.
National Doughnut Day started in 1938 by the Chicago Salvation Army to honor women who served donuts to soldiers during World War I, according to information from Dunkin’ Donuts.

It’s celebrated on the first Friday of June.
Dunkin’ Donuts is offering a free doughnut if customers purchase a beverage.

Dunkin’s deal can be found at these locations in Cumming:
- 1165 Buford Hwy
- 521 Peachtree Pkwy
If you’re heading to Gwinnett or down toward Atlanta, Krispy Kreme is just handing out doughnuts (one per customer).
More than 100,000 guests claimed their complimentary National Doughnut Day treat at Krispy Kreme shops throughout the country last year.
We’ll update if we find any local deals, but there’s no reason you can’t visit one of Cumming’s other cool local doughnut shops and put a little cash in the register.
