Flooding Closes Forsyth County Roads
The Forsyth County government has closed several roads in the wake of flooding from weekend rains.
Flooding has forced Forsyth County to close several roads in its jurisdiction.
Sanders Road between Mary Alice Park Road and Timberlake Trail, Parks Road and Nicholson Road and Old Federal Road at the Etowah River have all been closed off by the government.
Big Creek Greenway is also closed to the public.

The closures come on the heels of the National Weather Service issuing a flood warning for Cumming Sunday evening.Â
Big Creek near Cumming was reportedly at 4.26 feet at 4:45 a.m. and falling slowly. The creek's waters reached 8.24 feet at 5 p.m. Sunday, May 19, before starting to fall.Â
