Forsyth Burglars Victimizing Spanish Speakers
Forsyth sheriff's deputies have responded to more than two dozen burglaries involving Latino victims.

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office is trying to put a stop to a rash of burglaries that are targeting the county’s Spanish-speaking population.
According to The Associated Press, sheriff’s deputies have been called out to more than 30 burglaries affecting Spanish-speaking and Latino victims in Forsyth County. Deputies believe all the burglaries have been committed by a group of three people who use a blue Honda Odyssey as their vehicle.
The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office says that the burglars typically knock at the front door of a target home on a Sunday morning. If someone answers the door, the burglars pretend to be looking for a babysitter. If nobody’s home, the burglars break in and steal clothes, jewelry, cash, and perfume.
