Forsyth County Launches New Map Based Web Application
Information and status updates on zoning applications, permits, variances and others can now be viewed online using Insight2Forsyth.

FORSYTH COUNTY, GA — Information and status updates on zoning applications, permits, variances and other properties with proposed action can now be viewed online using an interactive map-based application on the county’s website, www.forsythco.com.
“Insight2Forsyth gives residents the ability to easily access what is currently happening in Forsyth County and what plans are being proposed in their community,” said Forsyth County Chief Information Officer Brandon Kenney.
Created by Forsyth County Geographic Information Services (GIS), Insight2Forsyth provides access to information regarding items such as new applications for zoning changes and/or variances (VA), Special Use Permits (CUP), Preliminary Plans (Sketch Plats – SP), Zoning Applications (ZA) and Zoning Condition Amendments (AZ) as well as other items that are posted on colored road signs advertising actions that are being considered. Insight2Forsyth can be accessed from any device, including mobile phones, tablets and desktops.

Insight2Forsyth allows visitors to find properties with proposed action easily on an interactive map and review the item’s status, documentation associated with the plan/permit and any action that is taken.
