Forsyth County Primary Election Results Are In

FORSYTH COUNTY, GA — With no Democrat challenger for the November election, Republican Molly Cooper will be the Forsyth County Commissioner for District 1, with 77.28 percent of the vote, or 3,000 votes, to beat Dooz Owings. Wes McCall will be the Republican Board of Education Representative beating out Mark Weiss, also with no Democrat challenger for November. And nearly 55 percent of voters were in favor of the proposed city of Sharon Springs.
