FORSYTH COUNTY, GA — The first bell on the 2019-20 school year is about to ring and that means parents need to get their calendars in order. The first day of school for Forsyth County Schools is Thursday, Aug. 1 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you'll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP.
