Forsyth Elections Director To Be Sworn In As Chief Registrar

FORSYTH COUNTY, GA -- Forsyth County Director of Voter Registration and Elections Barbara Luth has been appointed to the position of Chief Registrar and Chairperson of the Board of Registration and Elections by Superior Court Chief Judge Jeffrey S. Bagley.

Luth will be sworn in by Magistrate Court Judge Lynnwood D. Jordan at 9 a.m. on April 2 during the Forsyth County Board of Registrations and Elections regular monthly meeting that will be held at the Voter Registration and Elections Office, 1201 Sawnee Dr. The public is invited to attend the meeting.

“Ms. Luth’s vast background and experience in voting and elections makes her imminently qualified for the position of chief voter registrar,” Bagley said in a release.

Luth was appointed from a list of names recommended by the Grand Jury following the retirement of previous Chief Registrar and Chairman of the Board of Registration Donald Glover.
