Forsyth Senior Expo Draws Record Crowd
Organizers say more than 1,500 people attended this year's senior expo.

The recent Forsyth Senior Expo, held this year for the first time at the Forsyth Conference Center at Lanier Technical College, drew a record crowd, according to organizers.
Now in its 11th year, the annual event drew more than 1,500 senior citizens, including family members and friends. Numerous vendors, about 85 in all, provided information regarding a variety of topics from health care, housing, finance, safety and security, to recreation, and travel.
The free event, held on Feb. 16, was organized by Forsyth County Senior Services.
