UPDATE: Forsyth Sheriff's Deputies Arrest Wanted Man
The man fled a traffic stop as a passenger in the stopped vehicle. He is wanted for misdemeanor and felony family violence charges.

UPDATE (3:00 p.m.): Forsyth County sheriff’s deputies have arrested a wanted man they say fled from a traffic stop in Cumming on Monday.
Chase Alvin Chambers is now in custody following an extensive manhunt, the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office said on its Facebook page. According to the sheriff’s office, Chambers was found hiding in a basement with another man, Joel Hensley. Hensley had warrants out for his arrest for probation violations.
Authorities said that they received several leads in their search for Chambers, who was wanted for misdemeanor and felony family violence charges.

Chase Alvin Chambers was a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over by sheriff’s deputies during a routing traffic stop on Monday. Chambers fled from the scene and is now on the run, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page. Chambers is wanted for misdemeanor and felony family violence charges that include battery and false imprisonment.
Chambers was last seen wearing a white tank top and blue jeans. If you spot this man, please call 911.
