Forsyth Sheriff's Deputy Graduates from Motor School
Deputy Russell Rogers will help police the entrances and exits of Forsyth County schools.

A Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office deputy will be seen alongside his motorcycle outside the county’s schools, helping his fellow deputies control traffic to and from the facilities at the beginning and end of the day.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Deputy Russell Rogers has recently become motorcycle certified. As a newly-certified motorcycle officer, Rogers has been assigned to the School Resource Unit as a member of the Motor Unit.
“Motor School is one of the most challenging certifications to obtain in law enforcement,” the Sheriff’s Office said. “Passing this class is a great accomplishment for any deputy.
