The deputy has challenged his colleagues at the Forysth County Sheriff's Office to get drenched in cold water to raise awareness of ALS.

A Forsyth County sheriff’s deputy got a bath of ice-cold water to benefit ALS awareness and research, and he has now challenged his co-workers to follow suit.
Deputy Robin Regan participated in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, a viral fundraising event in which participants are challenged to dump ice cold water on themselves, then challenge three other people to do the same. All those challenged then donate to the ALS Association.
For his part, Regan challenged the entire community relations department at the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office to take the Ice Bucket Challenge.
