Forsyth Sheriff's Office Offering Online Safety Course for Parents Next Month in Cumming
A School Resource Officer will brief parents about the threats kids face on the internet, and ways parents can protect kids from threats.

The internet is a big place, and it can be a scary place for parents who aren’t sure what their children are doing on their laptops, cell phones, or tablets.
The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office wants to help parents become better stewards of their children’s online activities, and is hosting a two-hour information session called “Internet Safety at Home” on Thursday, Dec. 4 at 6:30 p.m. at North Forsyth High School.
Sheriff’s Deputy A.G. Campbell will lead the session, which will cover topics such as basic internet and cell phone safety, and ways to protect your children from online predators. The session will also take an unflinching look at the dark side of social networking.
