Found on Lake Lanier: One Cremation Urn
Sheriff's deputies are trying to find family members to return the urn.

CUMMING, GA — Forsyth County sheriff's deputies are playing lost and found with an unusual item -- an urn believed to be containing human remains.
The urn was found recently floating on Lake Lanier, deputies said in a Facebook post.
"We are trying to locate any relatives as there are no engravings on the urn," the sheriff's office said in the post.

The sheriff's office is not revealing other details about the urn in an effort to make sure it is returned to the proper family. It is not a disposable or biodegradable urn, the sheriff's office said.
Anyone with information on the urn is asked to call the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office or message the office on Facebook.
