Gainesville Man Charged With Murder in Sister's Death

GAINESVILLE, GA — A 35-year-old Gainesville man has been charged with murder in the shooting death of his sister.

Bradley Scott Holland was arrested Friday and booked at Hall County Jail.

Hall County Sheriff's Office deputies were called at about 6 p.m. Friday to an address on 3rd Street in Chicopee Village.

Upon arriving, they found Stacey Allison with a single gunshot wound to her head. Allison was taken to North East Georgia Medical Center, where she was later pronounced dead.

Investigators arrested Holland at the scene, charging him with murder. The alleged murder weapon, a handgun, was recovered at the scene as well, sheriff's deputies said.
