Road reopened late Wednesday morning, according to Forsyth County Sheriff's Office
A portion of Buford Dam Road was closed Wednesday morning due to a gas leak.
The stretch between Samples Road to Nuckolls Road reopened after 11 a.m.
Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office had encouraging drivers to avoid the area and use an alternative route.
