Despite the fact that it's against the law nationwide for a person to operate a recreational vessel with an unlawful blood alcohol concentration (0.08 or higher in Georgia), BUI continues to be a problem across the U.S. Rangers have made 73 BUI arrests so far this year on state waterways in Georgia.
Don't put yourself and others at risk by boating impaired! And remember, a drunk boater becomes a drunk driver and vice versa.
