Get Your Christmas Tree Locally: Forsyth Christmas Tree Farms Open

There are plenty of tree buying options in the Cumming area.

Cumming residents can purchase a brand-new Christmas tree for their holiday decorations for a portion of this week, Cumming Local reports.

Area tree farms opened for the season on Saturday, Nov. 22, including Bottoms Christmas Tree Farm and the Kinsey Family Farm. Both farms give customers the option of cutting down their own tree or purchasing either a pre-cut tree.

Apart from the trees, Kinsey Family Farm ( 7170 Jot Em Down Rd. in Gainesville) features wreaths, garlands, hot chocolate, a hayride, and more. Any family that purchases a Kinsey Family Farm tree is given a commemorative Kinsey Family Farm ornament. The design changes from year to year.
