As much as I love Atlanta, there’s nothing like a much-needed vacation to make you feel alive. This year, as my husband and I celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, we have ventured to the hills of San Francisco to take in the sights, while sampling some of the city’s greatest culinary delights.
Always on the lookout for delectable additions for our gift baskets, we spent our first day in beautiful California touring Ghirardelli. While I’m assuming that most people are familiar with this wonderful company, I will still point out that they make decadent chocolate squares that are frequently filled with an assortment of fillings such as caramel, peanut butter, and raspberry—which we always love adding to our baskets for a touch of taste and color! Today, however, we were delighted to have the opportunity to sample an assortment of their new chocolate flavors, as well as their minis.
From there, we ventured to Boudin Bakery (Boudin San Francisco Sourdough) which, as the name suggests, is known for their tangy sourdough recipe, as well as a variety of hearth and specialty breads. For our purposes, we purchased a selection of their original sourdough French breads, which means that we’ll have breakfast covered for the next day or two!

Luckily, since this has only been the first of many days in our stay, the food adventures are only just beginning! I can’t wait to uncover an array of new finds for our gift baskets, so keep an eye out for some always-evolving new creations to come.
As always, thank you for making Gratitude Goodies Atlanta’s #1 signature gift basket company, as well as a Forsyth County Business of the Year!
