Halcyon's First Wave Of Retailers, Restaurants Opening Sept. 18
Halcyon, the 135-acre mixed-use development in Forsyth County, will officially open to the public on Sept. 18.

FORSYTH COUNTY, GA — RocaPoint Partners has announced the public opening of Halcyon, the 135-acre mixed-use development in Forsyth County, on Sept. 18.
The community is invited to experience a first glimpse at the village as several retailers and restaurants begin opening their doors to the public, including:
- Cherry Street Brewpub, a local brewpub and beer garden, located adjacent to the Village Green
- CT Cantina Taqueria, a fresh take on Latin fare with a variety of street eats and margaritas
- Market Hall, a gathering space for the community to enjoy small bites from six different food stalls overlooking the Village Green
- It’s a Sweet Life, Atlanta’s premier specialty cake boutique and bakery
- Kilwins, a mix of chocolates, fudge and ice cream in a variety of flavors, located on one end of the Market Hall
- Mercedes-Benz Experience Center by RBM of Alpharetta, a permanent, small-format experience center for guests to learn about the luxury auto brand’s latest designs and innovations
- Popbar, a frozen treat experience, with handcrafted gelato, sorbet and yogurt creations served on a stick
- RW Design & Exchange, an upscale interior design studio and gallery showroom
Halcyon is located at 6365 Halcyon Way off Exit 12 on Ga. 400. Some tenants may open prior to Sept. 18.

The $370-million, 135-acre community weaves together nature, design and leisure into one place, with more than 50 acres of green space and access to the Big Creek Greenway.
The construction of Halcyon's first phase, including a 160,000-square-foot retail village, 38,000-square-foot luxury dine-in cinema and Market Hall has exceeded 80 percent of completion. As of March, more than 660,000 bricks were laid, more than 8,000 cubic yards of concrete was poured, and more than 1,500 light fixtures were installed across the development.

Other retailers slated to open at the mixed-use village include national dog daycare provider Dogtopia, Texas-based Diesel Barbershop, and local group Optima Eye Care.
In addition to the carefully curated mix of restaurants and retailers opening at Halcyon, Edward Andrews Homes, Monte Hewitt Homes and Greystar will bring a mix of 665 single-family homes, town homes and apartment homes to the development. After recently opening the interest list for prospective residents, Edward Andrews Homes received an overwhelmingly strong response with 700 members and growing. Located on the retail village side of the project, Monte Hewitt Homes has begun vertical construction of the model homes.
Halcyon, Georgia’s most anticipated mixed-use village, is an alternative to the convenient development. The $370-million, 135-acre community weaves together nature, design and leisure into one place. Nature trails and green space connect to the Big Creek Greenway and more than 50 acres are dispersed throughout the site. Currently under construction, RocaPoint Partners and New York-based The Georgetown Company are developing the site.
