Hall County Fire Services Awards Ambulance to the Lanier Technical College Foundation for the Paramedicine Program

Hall County Fire Services, a division of the Hall County Board of Commissioners, has donated a decommissioned ambulance to provide training to the students of the Paramedicine program at Lanier Technical College.
“We appreciate our long-standing partnership with Hall County Fire Services.” said Lanier Technical College President Ray Perren. “This ambulance will help assure our students, as well as current fire services personnel, get hands-on training using the same equipment with which they operate on the job. Partners like Hall County allow us to continue to provide our students with guaranteed career opportunities.”
The Paramedicine program prepares students for employment in paramedic positions in today's health services field. The program provides learning opportunities that introduce, develop, and reinforce academic and occupational knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement and provides opportunities to upgrade present knowledge and skills from the EMT-I/AEMT level to the paramedic level.

We are committed to supporting the educational opportunities afforded by Lanier Technical College to our community.”
Lanier Tech has the oldest Paramedicine program in the state. Graduates of the program can be found throughout Georgia preforming life-saving services in their communities.
