Two Hall County Men Arrested For Child Exploitation
Police say the 56-year-old and the 21-year-old had "lewd" images of underage girls.
GAINESVILLE, GA — In unrelated cases, two Hall County men have been arrested on child exploitation charges.
Hall County Sheriff's deputies say Phillippus Rudolph Uys, 56, of Gainesville, has been charged with a felony in the case.
During the course of an investigation, Uys was found in possession of images of girls under the age of 18 "engaged in lewd exposure and sexual activity," they say.

He was arrested Thursday without incident and booked into the Hall County Jail. A hold was also placed on Uys regarding his immigration status, deputies said in a news release.
Adam Christian Gregorio Mecomber, 21, was arrested back on December 22 on the same charge, authorities said.

His arrest also was announced Friday.
The Hall County Sheriff's Office says he, too, possessed lewd and sexual images of girls under 18.
He was arrested without incident and booked at Hall County Jail.
Both cases remain under investigation.
