Hall County Woman Shot In The Face

GAINESVILLE, GA — An Atlanta man has been arrested after authorities say he shot a Hall County woman in the face on Saturday.

Hall County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested Timothy Allen Hill, 25, after the shooting, which happened Saturday morning in the 6900 block of Dee Lane in north Hall County.

The victim, a 42-year-old woman, was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center, then airlifted to Grady Hospital in Atlanta. Her injuries were not believed to be life threatening, the sheriff's office said.

According to the sheriff's office, Hill ran away from the scene of the shooting and was arrested a couple of miles away at Barker's Bend, off of Yellow Creek Road.

The case remained under investigation Monday morning.
