Funeral Services for Mrs. Shirley will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5.
Julia H. Shirley, 80, of Jefferson, GA passed away Sunday, June 2, 2013. Born in Gainesville, GA, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Shirley and daughter, Judy Piotrowski.
Mrs. Shirley has been a member of the First Baptist Church of Jefferson for more than 50 years. She is a member of the Jefferson Bridge Club and former Jackson County Board of Education member. She loved her family, friends, and community.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Keith Ariail of Jefferson, GA; son, Todd Shirley of Cumming; grandchildren, Tyler (Carla) Truelove, Taylor (Brittany) Truelove, Will Shirley, Julianna Shirley; great grandchildren, Gracie Beth, Ty, Macy Mae, and Max Truelove.

Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, at the First Baptist Church of Jefferson. Dr. Michael Helms will officiate. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, at the church. Interment will follow at Apple Valley Baptist Church Cemetery in Commerce, GA.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests donations to the First Baptist Church of Jefferson Building Fund.
