In Memoriam: Merlyne Ruth Owens, 79

Merlyne Ruth Owens, 79, of Cumming and a long-time resident of Titusville, FL died on March 30, 2013. Born in Livingston, IL she was the daughter of the late Ellsworth and Gladys Best.

Merlyne was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Owens of Cumming; children, Bobbie Jo (Robert) Moore of Cumming; Gregory A. Owens of Missoula, MT, Kirk R. (Kim) Owens of Woodstock; Tracy (Doug) Moran of Grand Blanc, MI and Shelley (Keith) Smith of Carrollton; sisters, Joyce (Jim) Furtkamp of Lebanon, IL; Lois (Ramsae) Stricker of Highland, IL and Vara Lynn (David) Yoakum of Troy, IL; brother, Harlan (Mary) Best of Staunton, IL and 8 much-loved grandchildren.
