In Memoriam: Peggy Ann Manning, 58

Peggy Ann Manning, passed away peacefully May 3, 2013 at her home in Dawsonville, GA. She was born on November 24, 1954. She is the daughter of Harley Shirley and the late Thelma Shirley Bagby.

Peggy worked for the Forsyth County Board of Education; she was a kind and loving, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. She was a devoted friend that will be truly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Manning; beloved grandson, Tristan Keown; and brother Jerald Shirley.

She is survived by her children, Cheryl Barnes, Jerry Barnes, Terry Barnes all of Winder, GA, Tammy Keown of Buford, GA, Veronica Manning of Dawsonville, GA; brothers, James Shirley, Kenney Shirley; sisters, Cynthia Hudgins, Debra Earnest, Fannie Mae Ingram, Ann Abernathy; 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Special family/caregivers, granddaughter, Keshia Barnes, sister-in-law, Sherry Koonce and niece, Tracy Brown all of Dawsonville, GA.

She was laid to rest on Sunday, May 5, at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens in Cumming.
