In Memoriam: Wendy Gayle Gibson, 44

Wendy Gayle Gibson, 44, of Cumming, died on April 17, 2013. Born in Tacoma, WA she was the daughter of Maretta Gibson of Cumming and Charles Gibson of Tucson, AZ.

Wendy will always hold a special place in the hearts of her loving family. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sisters, Sherrie (Alex) Salinas of Puyallup, WA, Shelly Hagland of Lakewood, WA, Cindy Shuler of Winder, GA and Kara Foley of Cumming; aunt, Beverly Allen; much- loved nieces and nephews, Monica, Jeremy, William, Cody, Barrett and Brittany; and special grand nieces and nephews, Larissa, Ella, Tyler, Blake, Bella and Abbie.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Glen English will officiate. The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 27 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Wendy’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
