Screaming Man Pried From Car: Forsyth Sheriff
The Jaws of Life were needed to pry a screaming man from a car on fire after a crash on Namon Wallace Drive in Forsyth County.

FORSYTH COUNTY, GA – The Jaws of Life were necessary to pry a screaming man from a vehicle crash Dec. 21 on Namon Wallace Drive in Forsyth County, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office. The crash victim was taken to a local hospital. It was unclear how severe his injuries were.
Lt. Scotty Spriggs, deputy Tom McCullagh and deputy Drue Green responded to the morning daybreak crash and quickly discovered that the driver was trapped inside of the car and it was on fire. All three deputies used their fire extinguishers to help stop the fire while the driver was screaming for help from inside the car.
McCullagh then broke out the driver side window. Forsyth County Fire Department had to use the Jaws of Life to finish the job and to get the driver out completely, according to the FCSO. McCullagh broke a finger during the rescue.

The cause of the accident is not yet known. The victim was not yet identified.
