Jazz and Swing Band Performing in Cumming This Weekend

A 1940s style jazz and swing band will perform at the Cumming Playhouse Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.

According to Cumming Playhouse’s website, The Bob Russell Singers & Jazz Band will open their two-night engagement with a performance at 8 p.m. on Saturday and close out with a 3 p.m. matinee on Sunday.

The Bob Russel Singers & Jazz Band recreated the big band sound of the 1940s, thrilling jazz performances, solos, duets, trios, show tunes, and even a musical tribute to current and past members of the armed forces.
