Jingle Jog 5K Registration Deadline Approaching
The Peachtree qualifying race will begin and end at Taco Mac, and will be followed up by a Christmas parade at Cumming Market Place.

Athletes can now register for a challenging road race in Cumming which can be used to qualify for the 2015 Peachtree Road Race in Atlanta.
The Jingle Jog 5K will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6 at the Taco Mac inside Cumming Market Place. The race route will see runners make their way to Mary Alice park, but they will turn around before reaching the park and finish up at the Taco Mac. Awards will be given out to the best overall runners, master runners, and the winners of the separate five-year age groups between 10 and under and 60 and older.
Registration for the race costs $25 until Dec. 4 and $30 on race day. Race day registration will run from 7:30 to 8:15 a.m. All runners who register before race day will receive a long sleeved t-shirt in a size of their choice.

Following the race, Cumming Market Place will serve as the launch point for the Cumming Christmas Parade. From 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Santa and many of the best floats in Forsyth will parade down Market Place Boulevard between Buford Dam Road and Highway 20.
Proceeds from the race will benefit the Forsyth County Community Connection, a nonprofit group which coordinates volunteer opportunities to help local families in need.
