Johnson Road to Close For Drain Work

The work will begin Monday and is expected to be complete by next Thursday.

CUMMING, GA — A portion of Johnson Road will be closed starting Monday so crews can replace an existing drain that crosses under the road.

The portion of the road that will be closed spans its entire length between Kelly Mill Road and Chamblee Gap Road.

The cross drain is located at 1760 Johnson Rd.

The road is expected to re-open to traffic on or before Thursday, December 22 if weather permits, county officials say.

They ask for motorists' patience while the work is completed.
