Keep Forsyth County Beautiful Gearing Up for Cleanup Event in Cumming
The Rivers Alive event on Oct. 18 will begin and end at Mary Alice Park. The deadline to register for the event is Oct. 15.

Keep Forsyth County Beautiful is looking for volunteers and nature lovers to help them clean up the rivers, lakes, and wetlands around Cumming during an event scheduled for next weekend.
Rivers Alive will begin at Mary Alice Park at 9 a.m. on Oct. 18, AccessNorthGa.com reports. Participants will gather cleaning supplies at the park, then set out to clean bodies of water and wetlands in the surrounding areas before returning to the park for a complimentary lunch.
Volunteers must register for the event by Oct. 15 in order to participate. All volunteers must fill out and sign a waiver form to complete their applications.
