Kindergarten Sign-Ups Under Way in Forsyth

CUMMING, GA -- If your child is going to attend kindergarten in Forsyth County this fall, now is the time to get them signed up.

The county’s school district holds Kindergarten Roundup each year to register incoming kindergarten students.

Registration will take place at the Almon C. Hill Educational Center, at 136 Elm St. in Cumming, not at the individual schools.

The Forsyth County News has details on the exact dates that sign-up appointments will be held, based upon the school the child will attend.

They began Monday (for kindergartners who will attend Big Creek and Sharon) and run through April 1.

To register, parents should go to Forsyth.k12.ga.us/KKenroll, make an appointment to come register at the Hill Center, review and gather all the needed documents and pre-register on the website with the child’s information.
