Kohl's Recognizes Forsyth Student
She now qualifies for a chance to win a $1,000 regional scholarship that will be awarded in July.
The Kohl’s Cares Scholarship Program on Wednesday recognized 69 students from Georgia, including one from Forsyth, who have made a positive impact in their communities through volunteerism.
Linda Diaz, 17, from Cumming is among the students who received a $50 gift card, a certificate and the chance to qualify for a $1,000 regional scholarship that will be awarded in July.
From the nearly 200 regional winners that Kohl's plans to announce in July, 10 national winners will receive $10,000 each in scholarships. Additionally, Kohl’s will donate $1,000 to a nonprofit organization on each national winner’s behalf.
