Labor Day 2021: What's Open, Closed Around Cumming

CUMMING, GA — Monday, Sept. 6 is Labor Day in Cumming. In observance of the holiday, most federal, state and local government offices are closed.

There will be no mail delivery. Many businesses are open, but with different hours — so it's not a bad idea to check before heading out.

Here's a breakdown of how the holiday could impact your routine.

• Municipal offices for Cumming will be closed on Monday.

• Forsyth County government offices will be closed on Monday. This includes county offices, the animal shelter, the three recreation centers and the three recycling convenience centers.
• All Forsyth County Library locations will be closed on Monday.
• The Cumming Aquatic Center will be open from 1-6 p.m. on Monday.
• Forsyth County Schools will be closed on Monday.
• This is a federal holiday and all U.S. Postal Service post offices will be closed on Monday. No mail will be delivered or sent.
• Check local grocery store hours here.
• All banks will be closed.
