Lanier Tech Faculty Member Recognized

The American Society of Interior Designers honors Lanier Tech's Amy O'Dell as its first ASID Educator Partner.

Amy O'Dell, the department chair of the Interiors Program at the Forsyth campus of Lanier Technical College, was recently recognized by The American Society of Interior Design (ASID) as its first educator partner.

“I am eager to build the program at Lanier Tech and graduate many successful future designers," said O'Dell. "It’s exciting to be the first Educator Partner.”

ASID, with more than 30,000 members nationally and 1600 members in Georgia, is the oldest, largest and leading professional organization for interior designers.

The organization recently created a new Educator Partner membership category to accommodate full-time and adjunct interior design educators who have professional backgrounds in other fields such as fine arts and industrial design.
