Lanier Technical College continues to deliver on its motto of "Great Careers Begin Here" with 9% enrollment growth for Summer Semester 2020.
With an outstanding enrollment growth of 9% for the summer semester 2020 over the summer semester 2019, Lanier Technical College continues to deliver on its motto of "Great Careers Begin Here". Almost 2,300 students enrolled in the College's summer classes.
Lanier Tech saw 772 new students enroll and 1,504 returning students for a total of 2,276 summer semester students. The Lanier Tech Lakers registered for 15,142 credits in their courses. Students chose a wide-range of Lanier Tech's courses with high enrollment in general education and healthcare programs.
The semester started June 1, 2020, with lecture courses being delivered online for the entire semester. The lab portion of occupational courses will be safely delivered on-site through lab plans developed by the instructors, approved by the academic deans, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, and the College's President.
