Students who have been accepted to and who are interested in admission to the Practical Nursing or Surgical Technology programs for 2012 have until Thursday, Dec. 1 to register for an important test.
The college will be administering the National League of Nursing (NLN) Test on Monday, Dec. 19 at the Forsyth County campus, and again on Wednesday, Jan. 4 at the Oakwood campus.
According to Lanier Tech's Web site, the NLN test is a standardized test that provides norms to assist nursing educators to make decisions about the admission and placement of practical nursing students. The test measures basic verbal, mathematical, and science skills at high school levels. It is a 214 item test in four option multiple choice format. This three hour test is administered in three sections of one hour each.
