Lanier Tech's DHYG Class of 2017 is 14th class in a row to earn 100% pass rate on the first attempt!

Lanier Technical College is proud to announce that the Dental Hygiene Class of 2017 have all
passed the National Board examination! This is one of three tests that
dental hygiene students must pass to become licensed to practice in the profession. The National
Board is an intensive written test composed of 350 questions concerning
all aspects of dental hygiene theory and practice. The DHYG Class of
2017 is the 14th class in a row at LTC to have a 100% pass rate on the first attempt!
We are extremely proud of these students, and now we are helping them to
make their last preparations to take the other two tests that are
required to obtain licensure. The first is the jurisprudence
exam for Georgia, and the other is the clinical exam (CRDTS) where they
are evaluated on how well they can clean teeth on a real patient while
meeting specific criteria.
We are confident they will be successful and then will be joining the workforce shortly
afterwards. Way to go DHYG Class of 2017!
