CUMMING, GA — Cumming-based Legends Distillery is hosting multiple soft launch days this week, with a grand opening on Saturday.
The distillery will be open from 3-10 p.m. on Wednesday-Friday for soft launch days, and a grand opening on Saturday, Aug. 14. Legends Distillery is located at 210 Industrial Park Drive in Cumming.
The family-owned distillery first launched its bourbons and vodka last year as the pandemic hit. They will now officially celebrate their award-winning spirits and newly-completed tasting room and VIP event space on Aug. 14.

Legends is putting Georgia on the map with its award-winning bourbons and vodka. It was recently named "2021 Best Wheated Bourbon in the U.S." by the ASCOT Awards. Legends' Wheated 115 Bourbon beat out the Buffalo Trace family of bourbons in a blind tasting, something no other Georgia distillery has accomplished.
Restaurants are catching on, including Buffalo Wild Wings in Alpharetta now using Legends Vodka. Fado Irish Pub, Limerick Junction, Meehan’s, Brewhouse Cafe, Smith’s Olde Bar and many more across Georgia are replacing national brands with Legends 87 Bourbon, and Longhorn Steakhouse has recently launched a multi-state deal to carry the Legends brand in its restaurant bars.

The Legends brand, produced by Spirits USA in Cumming, is distilled with patented Quantum Purity technology that reduces impurities in alcohol by at least half without compromising the taste of the spirits, allowing for full flavor with no burn, the company said.
The Legends brands include Small Batch Straight 87 Bourbon, Double Barrel 100 Proof Bourbon, 115 Barrel Proof Wheated Bourbon and Legends Vodka.
