Man Missing on Lake Lanier Identified
Kevin Theodore Husum fell from a pontoon boat. The boat's driver, from Cumming, has been charged with boating under the influence.

CUMMING, GA — Authorities on Monday continued to search for a man who went missing Saturday on Lake Lanier.
The missing man has been identified as Kevin Theodore Husum, 23, of Panama City, Florida.
Husum went missing from a pontoon boat Saturday afternoon near Three Sisters Island on the lake, according to Georgia Department of Natural Resources authorities.

The driver of that boat has been charged with boating under the influence. Kenneth Toller, of Cumming, Georgia, was arrested and charged after the incident, said DNR spokesman Mark McKinnon on Monday.
At about 6 p.m. Saturday, DNR rangers, along with Hall and Forsyth county deputies, responded to a boating incident.

Witnesses reported that Husum fell off of the pontoon boat, went under and did not resurface.
Toller was transported to the Forsyth County Jail.
DNR Law Enforcement’s Critical Incident Reconstruction Team (CIRT) will be completing a thorough investigation into the incident. That investigation is expected to take several weeks to complete.
The DNR rangers and the Hall and Forsyth deputies are continuing surface searches and searching with sonar equipment around the clock, but say the search area is large and the water is between 40 and 80 feet deep.
