Man Wanted by Sheriff's Office in Custody, Authorities Say

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office says it has captured a man it suspects of committing aggravated assaults in Buford.

According to the Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, Brian Minor, 41, was taken into custody on Tuesday morning. Hours earlier, the Sheriff’s Office had featured Minor and his alleged crimes on their social media outlets, generating a large response from the community.

The Sheriff’s Office believes that Minor cut two people on the hand and arm during an incident on Buford Dam Road. He then fled the scene in a 2002 Chevrolet Venture van.
