Mountain Crest Combines Single Family, Active Adult and Townhome Living In One Masterful Design

Eight distinct neighborhoods in stunning natural setting characterize new resort-style community in Forsyth County

Mountain Crest in Cumming, Forsyth County’s most expansive master-planned community to date, presents today’s homebuyers with a wide selection of choices that reflects a variety of lifestyles. When completed, Mountain Crest will include eight (8) distinct neighborhoods located on 440 acres (including 150 acres of common space) off Bethelview Road, west of GA 400 in Forsyth County.

Many Home Styles for Many Lifestyles

Situated on a stunning piece of rolling land in the shadow of the North Georgia Mountains, Mountain Crest includes eight beautifully landscaped neighborhoods, all connected by wide sidewalks and situated near Mountain Crest’s magnificent 8,000 sq. ft. Clubhouse and resort-style amenities.

Mountain Crest’s master plan includes different single-family neighborhoods with homes on 60 ft., 75 ft., and 90 ft. lots; Stablegate at Mountain Crest, a vibrant townhome community; and Bridlewood at Mountain Crest, a collection of single-level homes designed for active adults. Homes will range from the mid $200s to the $600s.

In April, Mountain Crest’s Welcome Home Center and its Model Home Park featuring four beautiful floorplans will open to the public.

“Mountain Crest, with its gorgeous setting, resort-style amenities and central location will appeal to many buyers,” says Patti Dunn, Director of Sales. “Where else in Forsyth County will you be able to find such a variety of neighborhoods and lifestyle options in one master-planned community?”

Nestled in Nature

Lennar Atlanta’s thoughtful design for Mountain Crest exhibits the company’s environmental sensitivity.

“We have carefully taken the existing topography of the area into consideration, including the original pasture land,” says Dunn. “Throughout each phase of building, we will respect the existing slope of the land and minimize impact to streams and creeks, and our objective is to keep as many mature trees as possible.” Mountain Crest will be built in phases, and Lennar Atlanta estimates that construction will be completed in 7 to 10 years.

Chamblee Gap

To alleviate the gradual impact on area traffic patterns, Chamblee Gap has been improved, and a traffic light with a turn signal will be added at Mountain Crest’s entrance. Chamblee Gap will also feature wide pedestrian walkways.

Rich with Amenities

Mountain Crest offers year-round resort-style living and includes multi-million dollar amenities:

  • 8,000 sf. ft. clubhouse with rooms for activities, clubs and social events
  • 8 lighted tennis courts and a viewing pavilion
  • 4 pickleball courts
  • Junior Olympic swimming pool, waterslide and other water features
  • Children’s playground
  • A central Village Green, the size of a football field, for games, picnics, concerts and open air gatherings, plus gardens, walking paths and benches
  • Pocket parks in each neighborhood
  • Extensive landscaping including tree-lined streets throughout
  • In certain neighborhoods, residents will be able to enjoy garden beds, a bocce ball court, a smaller neighborhood clubhouse or dedicated pool.

All open spaces will be governed by a Master Home Owners Association.

“Come discover Mountain Crest for yourselves,” says Dunn. “Come explore the different floorplans, neighborhoods and amenities - and imagine what it would be like for you to live here.”
