My Secret Closet
Owner and founder Narda Meeks exclaims, "We have everything from flip flops to formals!"
is an upscale resale boutique boasting big designer names like Coach, Louis Vuitton and Kate Spade for a fraction of the retail price. Responding to the desires of the community, Narda Meeks opened the store in July of 2006.
Meeks says, “This isn’t so much a thrift store as it is a place where you can resell your purchasing mistakes.” We all have items in our closet with the tags still attached or maybe something we wore only once and realized it was less than flattering. We had the best of intentions when we bought them, but now they sit in our closet as “purchasing mistakes” never to be worn again.
If you are interested in reselling your “purchasing mistakes” contact at 678-648-6777 to discuss what they are looking for and to make an appointment. They are very selective on what they will accept. It must be in season and of current style, no more than two-years-old and in perfect condition.

Their discriminating taste makes shopping consignment a guilty pleasure. In addition, their customer service imitates that of New York and Beverly Hills boutiques. “We assist our customers in putting together outfits. We are very hands on with our customers,” Meeks explains.
Meeks also gives back to the community donating clothes to Dress for Success and Helping Hands Partners. The store hosts Prom Angel events for girls who cannot afford their own prom dresses. Girls are able to pick out a gown in exchange for community service.

They are serving as a drop off point for supplies to help recent tornado victims in Cartersville, Adairsville and Ringgold. Diapers, bottled water, camping equipment, non-perishable food, gift cards for gas and yard clean-up bags are items most in demand. In addition, they are raising and collecting money for muscular dystrophy. If you would like to make a donation you have until June 23.
