National Beer Day falls on April 7, the anniversary of the day, in 1933, that the Cullen-Harrison Act went into effect.
Several months before Prohibition would be fully repealed, the act, signed into law by President Franklin D. Roosevelt, legalized the sale of low-alcohol beer.
