Executive Director, Family Haven

Family Haven is a non-profit organization that provides temporary, emergency shelter and program services to victims of domestic violence located in Forsyth County and servicing surrounding counties.

The Executive Director is responsible for managing and leading the temporary, emergency shelter and thrift store; managing a staff of 15; cultivating key relationships with community officials and nonprofit leaders; ensuring compliance with the GA Family Violence Act and GOCF regulations. The Executive Director reports to the Board of Directors.

Required Skills Include (but not limited to):

• Demonstrated business acumen (including experience preparing budgets and managing financial performance to budget)
• Demonstrated experience in performance management (establishing goals, monitoring performance and accountability, coaching and providing feedback);
• Demonstrated leadership and experience in leading and managing an organization, processes and programs;

 Desired Skills Include (but not limited to):

• Understanding of federal/state fund uses/restrictions;
• Understanding of Georgia domestic violence statutes, VOCA, VAWA, CJCC and GOCF regulations;
• Understanding of federal, state, local and private grant application processes;
• Experience working with a Board of Directors;
• Experience with client case management.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s degree from an accredited college in related field preferably in Non Profit Management or Non Profit Administration and three (3) years of professional experience in leadership role or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline (preferably business administration/management) and at least six (6) years of professional experience in a leadership role.
• Successfully pass a criminal background check including fingerprinting;
• Possess a valid GA driver’s license.

General Manager, Rosenfield Restaurants

SUMMARY OF POSITION: To effectively lead the Restaurant and Assistant Managers toward the attainment of agreed-upon goals and profits.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Recruit and hire hourly staff, as well as to maintain a bench for future growth.

Laboratory Supervisor, Northside Hospital-Forsyth

Full-time, Monday - Friday, 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. with alternating weekends.

Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, the Laboratory Supervisor will be responsible for implementing, planning, organizing, and staffing the work activities of the Laboratory during each shift to provide laboratory services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Maintenance of technical competency in core areas, teaching, and reinforcing for technical staff.

• BS degree in science plus eight (8) years experience as a medical technologist and have state recognized certification as a medical technologist.
• Computer skills: knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, Excel); basic statistics skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
