New Law For Passing Garbage Trucks in Georgia
Latest rule of the road means increased safety for sanitation workers and slower speeds when you're traveling around them.

Sanitation workers are getting some new protection on Georgia roadways after a new law went into effect last week.
When passing a garbage truck, a motorist must move into a lane not adjacent to the truck.
If that’s not possible, drivers have to slow down to 10 mph under the speed limit while passing the truck.
