New Medical Building on Horizon at Northside Hospital-Forsyth
Plans are underway for a fourth medical office building to be built at hospital.

has filed a letter of determination with the Georgia Department of Community Health to construct a new medical office building on its campus in Cumming.
The new three-story, 75,000-square-foot, building will be constructed on the south side of the existing Women’s Center and will connect to the center via a glass-enclosed corridor. The design of the structure will compliment the look and design of the Women’s Center.
"We continue to have a great deal of interest in our campus among physicians who want to locate here and be associated with our hospital," said Skip Putnam, CEO of Northside Hospital-Forsyth in a news release. "Additionally, our women’s services continue to grow and expand and the need for additional obstetricians, gynecologists and other medical specialties continues to increase."

In addition to supporting the Women's Center, the new building will house a variety of physician specialties and practices.
"We have received so many positive compliments about the Women’s Center since it opened in August 2008," said Russ Davis, director of Marketing and Public Relations for Northside. "Deliveries have surpassed projections every year since the Center opened."
