FORSYTH COUNTY, GA — Six lighted tennis courts, a pavilion and restroom facilities are being added at Matt Community Park, 6555 Wallace Tatum Rd., in northwest Forsyth County. The new facilities will be located next to the existing playground.

“We are very excited to be adding these amenities to Matt Community Park,” said Forsyth County Parks and Recreation Director Jim Pryor. “The playground at the park is very popular, so adding these facilities nearby makes perfect sense.”

Construction is currently underway, and the new amenities are expected to be complete by early summer 2020. An area of the parking lot in front of the playground will be closed during the construction period. The playground will still be open during throughout the construction process.
