OAR Finer Goods, Society Boutique Coming To Halcyon
Forsyth County's mixed-use property Halcyon is adding OAR Finer Goods and Society Boutique to its mix of retail and restaurants.
CUMMING, GA — Two new businesses are signed up to come to Forsyth County's mixed-use development, Halcyon.
OAR Finer Goods, a men’s accessories and lifestyle concept, will join the tenant mix at Halcyon. Founded in Blue Ridge earlier this year as a complementary counterpart to sister concept, Canoe, OAR offers a curated assortment of locally and nationally sourced products. Halcyon will be home to OAR’s second location, which is slated to open this fall.
Known for sourcing popular lifestyle brands such as Fulton & Roark and Brackish Bow Ties, OAR also offers original pieces ranging from coasters and keychains to high-end items such as hand-forged jewelry, leather bags and custom baseballs. Unisex items, such as T-shirts, apothecary goods, Dopp kits, leather wallets, cigar humidors, journals, passport covers, candles and more will also be available.

“Following the great response OAR has received in Blue Ridge, I’m thrilled to bring an eclectic mix of lifestyle goods and quality accessories to Forsyth County’s exciting new shopping destination,” said Lynn Kemp, founder of OAR and Canoe. “My goal is to fill a void in the market and offer the products men enjoy in an environment specifically curated for them. OAR is where style and sophistication merge.”
Designed to evoke a brooding charm and inspired by naturalistic scenes, the retail space for OAR will occupy an intimate setting at Halcyon for a comfortable shopping experience. The 930-square-foot shop will sit a short walk away from sister concept Canoe, near CMX CinéBistro and the central green space at the development.

“We are assembling a thoughtfully harmonized retail mix that prioritizes innovation and community at Halcyon,” said Phil Mays, principal at RocaPoint Partners. “OAR is the perfect characterization of this combination, delivering a new-to-market concept with a strong emphasis on amplifying creative brands that deviate from the norm and provide a sense of exclusivity.”

Society Boutique, an upscale shopping destination with a collection of popular brands and locally sourced, handmade pieces, will also be joining the mix of retailers and restaurants opening at Halcyon. Currently located in North Point Mall and on Haynes Bridge Road in Alpharetta, the boutique will open a third location at Halcyon late this summer.
With a mix of quality clothing, accessories, home decor and gifts, Society Boutique aims to be a go-to shopping destination for women of all ages. In addition to the latest trends from well-known designer brands, such as Show Me Your Mumu, AG Jeans and The Giving Keys, Society Boutique offers handmade pieces from women-owned businesses. At Halcyon, several of the store’s gifts and accessories, including candles, jewelry, art and more, will be crafted by artisans and jewelers from around Georgia.
“I’m thrilled to continue working with a mix of local, women-owned businesses and popular designer brands to bring one-of-a-kind gifts and quality, stylish clothing to Halcyon,” said Tanya Noegel, owner of Society Boutique. “Through years of experience in the boutique and retail world, I’ve seen the value in combining the right merchandise with an overall positive atmosphere to create an unforgettable shopping experience for customers, and I’m looking forward to bringing this to Halcyon.”
Society Boutique’s third location will be similar to the first two, featuring a beautiful store ambiance with an open, clean layout and an engaging shopping experience for customers. The store will occupy a 1,400-square-foot space in Halcyon’s main retail village, located between Canoe and Nina + Leigh boutiques and adjacent to Cherry Street Brewpub and the green space.
“At Halcyon, one of our goals is to deliver a mix of retailers that capture the sense of local pride that residents have in Forsyth County, but also have the national brand names consumers desire,” Mays said. “Society Boutique’s commitment to offering products that are sourced from local, women-owned businesses and distinguished brands will be a great addition.”
